About Me
Hello! I'm Denis, a Senior Full-Stack Engineer based in Munich, Germany. I specialise in one thing that most engineering organisations are actively wrestling with right now: integrating AI capabilities into existing software systems and teams — without burning down what already works.
With ~10 years of end-to-end delivery across mobility, e-commerce, and railway infrastructure monitoring, I've shipped LLM-powered platforms on AWS Bedrock, built agent harnesses adopted by product teams, and introduced practical AI patterns into organisations that had never shipped an AI feature before.
I'm equally at home writing infrastructure Terraform, designing a NestJS microservice, or prototyping an agentic workflow — which means I can close the gap between AI ambition and production reality. My current focus areas:

Senior Full-Stack Engineer
- Took on full-stack ownership of the application domain following a three-team consolidation; mapped architecture and service ownership to support team continuity and gradual consolidation.
- Drove a significant commercial feature end-to-end across AWS (Lambda, EventBridge), enabling a new pricing model and upsell path with a core customer.
- Improved frontend CI pipeline by parallelising per-module steps (~4x compute reduction) and drove several deferred framework-level upgrades.
- Delivered an AI-powered public procurement evaluation platform (AWS Bedrock, Flask, React, ArangoDB) — LLM scoring, multilingual processing, and graph analytics — as sole engineer.
- Provided some of the first practical patterns for the internal AI agent platform; surfaced provider-agnostic agent harnesses now adopted by the wider team.

- Led small development team — day-to-day support, growth, hiring, and technical direction.
- Drove multi-stage migration from home-grown framework to NestJS and hexagonal architecture, sequencing work to keep delivery moving alongside the rewrite.
- Created initial PoC for NestJS + CQRS back-office control tower backend; tech-led a colleague through the full build-out.
